O-U-C-H

Ouch, with a capital O is all I can say.. My shins are killing me.
I have stretched and stretched and stretched some more. Worked on the knots in my calves too. Oh yeah and Ice packs galore. Walking around my house with ice packs around both my shins, I look totally hilarious...(No I am not posting photos)
I have scoured the internet for ideas on how to get rid of them. They all say the same thing. rest, ice, compression, & elavaton, and stetches... Done all sorts of all of them... blah blah blah...

I was CRAZY to run the 5K with shin splints, yes I know self induced pain.. But seriously I couldnt not run.  You just don't walk your first 5K. No way, No sir,No how, Nuh Unh. So run I did.

I should be running 3 miles today, but I can't. Darm I did this last week too. Had shin splints and didn't do all my miles..

Somebody PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me what to do to make them go away...
