58 days into my training and only 3 months left till my half marathon.
I am beginning to wonder if I will ever be ready.
I have a long way left on my fundraising but slowly it is coming in.

The shin splints are still here so I have resigned to training this week at home on the elliptical.
I am hoping that the break from the pavement will do the trick. I also am adding heat to my daily regimen of stretching & ice packs.
I am completely baffled on how ice packs don't make my shins hurt, but first thing in the morning when I get out of bed as soon as my legs leave the warm toasty covers my shins ache. It seems that kind of cold makes them hurt.
So true my 80's girl nature I have revived the legs warmers! Yep I got the whole flash dance thing happening... Too funny but at least my legs are warm, right?
According to my training calendar I only have 2 miles to do today. I am hoping I will get thru that. I just can't bear to punk out again like I did on Saturday's training. I could only get thru 3 miles.
So wish me luck!
