Resting

Day 76- It is Saturday. I was supposed to run but like all week, I rested and did not put in miles. Still nursing the sprain in my ankles, more so the right one than the left .

I feel so, so.....Just BAD about it. I know I am not wrong to take a break but come on I am so not prepared and have a lot more training to do in order to be ready. Sad thing is when I come back into training I am going to have to scale back again and re-build back up, or else I will re-injure myself.  Stupid sprain...

Good news is I am feeling better, not quite as much pain, just a few twinges here and there.
Bad news is I am probably going to have to take a hiatus from those pretty high heels I love so much for the remainder of my training. They aren't doing me any favors. Thank goodness I have a job that will let me do that.

I have a cold today .. So I feel miserable. My mind wonders how a person can have both a stuffy nose and a runny nose at the same time. All the while I am thinking " I know I would feel better if I would just run". 

But back to the point, I didn't run, or even walk. I was supposed to do 7 Miles today. I stayed back and was posted at the water station with the mentors from my TEAM. They are great, really all of them.
My mentor D, is really great. Her last name is Forman, my last name is Forsman, it was so meant to BE. 

Okay, so I am just jabbering aimlessly. I will stay on target, sorry guys.

 No miles today, and no miles tomorrow it is a rest day. But I am working the King Tut Triathalon in McKinney tomorrow morning from 6-11am.  Yes, back up at the crack of dawn.  I am praying that feel better tomorrow. Time for bed now.
