Squats

I have had a less then productive work out week. Really seriously not happy about it. I had it all planned out.

Monday I was uber excited, I got my new KILLER, yes killer work out DVDs in the mail..Bob Harper is really seriously my trainer. Well not really but HE IS.

Anyway. Since my new work outs came in the mail, I just could not do one. After last week fiasco with the pulled quad I decided to go with the Yoga workout. Tough but completely do able. I can't wait till I can do the full version of Bird of Paradise. My son decided to watch. Some how he was shocked that this old broad wasnt too shabby. I was like " Hey! What do you think I have been doing for the last 6 months?" I surely am not a sofa bon bon eater... Nope I am totally a chocolate milk girl.. He he. But back to the point.

So I did the Yoga for the warrior workout on Monday. Tuesday I went to the rec center to run. Still nursing the pulled quad a little I could only run a mile. Sigh... But then I came home and did the killer 15 min Ab workout Bob has.  So I am doing good.  Right... Wrong.. Wednesday Ryan asked me to take a night off.. Thursday rolled around and I sooo wanted and needed to run but had to go to a Football Parent Meeting. ( Eyes rolling)  So no running.



Today I decided to do the Rev Cardio Workout DVD. Okay seriously this is cardio.Circut training, non stop... Jumping jacks, wieghted jump rope with no rope, push ups,speed skating Apolo Ohno style... Yep just non stop for an hour... Sqauts, and more squats with and with out weights, etc.
Oh wait did I mention the SQATS? Seriously Bob loves squats. He is all about them. Why?
These things are so not condusive to my healing quad and you would think that I might take it easy on them. But noooo. Not me. No chance with Bob. So I do all  my million sqats and now I pray that I can walk, and hopefully run tomorrow.

Please ..Pretty please don't let this be a like last week..
